Aim: Present aim detecting efficacy visual inspection cervix with acetic acid Pap smear in early detection carcinoma cervix.
Materials and methods: The cross sectional study conducted 100 attending GYN OPD were included study. They screened VIA, those positive either method subjected biopsy. sensitivity, specificity, PPV NPV calculated using biopsy report as reference standard.
Results: mean age subjects screen positivity 39.04 yrs 39.96yrs respectively. Multipara constituted majority cases. Among group, white discharge was predominant complaint. clinically healthy (45%) patients unhealthy rest patients. 21.4 %( 3 out of14) having on examination had dysplasia.
